Consultation
Our Occupational Therapy(OT) services include, but are not limited to, improving student's educational performance, postural stability, self-help abilities, sensory processing and organization. OT services also include environmental adaptation and use of assistive devices, motor planning and coordination, visual perception and integration, social and play abilities, and fine motor abilities. The Occupational Therapy provided will be delivered through both direct and indirect services and may be within the classroom, other educational settings or the home. Other services of OT can be delivered in groups or individually, and may include therapeutic techniques to develop abilities, adaptations to the student's environment or curriculum. Additionally, OT services include consultation and collaboration with other staff and parents. OT services are provided, pursuant to an IEP, by a qualified occupational therapist registered with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board.
